This is THE site you'll want to stay in touch with all year long. I'll post updates about what's going on in class, reminders about tests and homework, as well as make special announcements in the block to the left on this page. You'll always know what's going on and what to do if you check this page regularly. In addition, I'll be publishing the work we are doing, so if you miss something in class, you'll be able to find it here.

Don't forget to turn in your permission slips and lunch choices for our trip to the History Museum. Our museum is hosting the travelling Declaration of Independence exhibit. We'll get a private tour of the exhibit hall, distinguished professor Stuart Sanders will talk with us about the Declaration of Independence, and we'll get a chance to meet with the cast of Declare THIS! a contemporary look at the reasons we declared independence and our modern lives. We'll eat lunch downtown before making our way back to campus and early dismissal! Don't be left out. Get your permission slips signed and returned to Mr. Glover or the front office staff by September 8th.
Don't forget, the first 6 hours of documented Community Service is due to Mr. Glover by October 30. Don't wait until the last minute. Need ideas for where you can find projects you'd like to participate in? Join the Spring Valley CARES group. They have a lot of resources on local organizations working to make our community a better place to live.
AMC and the Discovery Channel will both be broadcasting the latest film on Lincoln. Tune in and watch this amazing film. Starting at 7pm.
